Plato o Plomo Garage is a Houston shop built by hand, one car at a time.
This site is built to be more than a business card. Treat it as a digital museum of Houston slab culture: the rides, the trunks, the wheels, the records and the people who carried it. Turn the volume up, let the Shop Stereo run, and read it like an exhibit.
Owner & Builder
Greg Aranda
Greg Aranda is a Houston car culture enthusiast and the owner of Red Fish Roofing. Cars came first and never left, what started as weekend builds turned into a two-decade run of classics, trucks and big bodies coming out of the same set of hands.
He started out building classic and muscle cars, moved into squarebody Chevys, and over twenty years landed where he always was headed: Cadillacs and Houston slab culture. Every car that leaves the shop is built the way he'd build his own, level stance, deep paint, real wire and a trunk that knocks.
Plato o Plomo Garage is the result. Gold or lead, no in between.
Twenty Years Of Builds
The Start
Classics And Muscle
Greg came up turning wrenches on American classics and muscle cars, small blocks, straight body lines and paint you could see your reflection in. That first stretch taught him the fundamentals every slab still runs on: metal work, fitment and patience.
The Middle
Squarebody Chevys
Next came the squarebodies, C10s and K5s dropped, cleaned up and color-matched. Trucks are where the shop's fabrication and stance work got sharp, and where the taste for bold color and clean interiors set in.
Now
Cadillacs And Slab Culture
Over a twenty-year run the work moved into big bodies, Fleetwoods, DeVilles, Impalas, candy paint, wire on the corners, sound in the trunk and glow under the frame. Plato o Plomo Garage builds one-of-one Houston cars in that lineage.

A museum needs a collection. We encourage slab owners, big body builders and Cadillac people anywhere in the world to send in their cars and their work to be featured here. Houston, Louisiana, the Bay, Tokyo, Osaka, London, it does not matter where you park it.
Send photos, video, the year and body, the paint, the wheels and the story behind it. Selected builds get posted with full credit to the owner and the hands that built it.
